Participation at the IBM Quantum Developer Conference 2025
The FreeYa Mind Campus team (Dragos Grosu, CTO, and the expert researchers Dragos Isac, Tudor Vasiliu and Petru Tirnovan) returned with significant insights from the IBM Quantum Developer Conference 2025, held on November 12–14 in Atlanta, Georgia, US.
During the conference, our team engaged with IBMʼs next-generation quantum hardware roadmap, including exclusive previews of the Nighthawk and Loon processors, which were engineered to support advantage-scale computational workloads. These developments reflected IBMʼs continued progress toward scalable, high-performance quantum systems.

The 2025 edition of IBMʼs annual developer conference reaffirmed its status as a central forum for experts who were shaping the future of quantum computing. The presentations and technical sessions highlighted how the IBM Quantum Platform was evolving to enable near-term demonstrations of quantum advantage — a milestone with the potential to transform both scientific research and industrial applications.
As part of this forward-looking global community, FreeYa Mind Campus remained committed to advancing access to cutting-edge quantum technologies. We returned from the conference with renewed motivation to further our mission: supporting researchers, students, and industry partners in exploring and applying the capabilities of quantum computing.
